Grahamwood Elementary

Retirement is a time of celebration, reflection, and bittersweet goodbyes. Grahamwood has truly been blessed by the dedication and service of three remarkable individuals who are retiring this year: Mrs. Sylvia Albert, STEM Teacher; Mrs. Sandy Broom, CLUE Teacher; and Mrs. Carolyn Owens, Financial Secretary.

Each of these outstanding women has made a lasting impact on the lives of students, staff, and families through their hard work, compassion, and commitment to excellence. Their contributions have helped shape the culture and success of Grahamwood, and their presence will be deeply missed.

As they begin this exciting new chapter, we thank them for their years of service and the countless memories they leave behind. We wish them happiness, relaxation, and many wonderful adventures in retirement. Congratulations on a job well done!

Today was an extremely special day! The Kindergarten Promotion Ceremony brought smiles, giggles, and a few joyful tears. Our educators have done an outstanding job preparing these amazing students for 1st grade, and we are so proud of all they have accomplished.

Kudos to the families, teachers, staff, and supportive village who helped make this memorable day possible. The future is bright for our little learners! 🎓✨

Dragon Walk 2026 was a resounding success. It attracted the highest number of participants to date! Mr. Brett Emerson, a former 5th grade teacher, started this event. It allows seniors to visit Grahamwood, walk its halls, and reconnect with former teachers. We extend our best wishes to all graduating seniors for great success in their future pursuits. 💙💛
