COVID-19 Testing Update
As part of our goal to help track and stop the spread of the coronavirus, SCS began offering bi-weekly COVID-19 testing in partnership with Poplar Healthcare at the start of the 2021-22 school year.


WEEKLY TESTING: Beginning Monday, January 17, nasal swab testing will be offered weekly​ at each school location and at the Board of Education Office at 160 South Hollywood.

If parents completed a consent form for their child to participate in the nasal swab testing and their child was swabbed last semester, there is no need to do anything. Their children will be offered a test on the day of each week designated for their school.

If parents DID NOT complete a consent form and their child DID NOT participate in nasal swab testing last semester, they must click the link below to register for weekly testing:

COVID-19 Testing Update
As part of our goal to help track and stop the spread of the coronavirus, SCS began offering bi-weekly COVID-19 testing in partnership with Poplar Healthcare at the start of the 2021-22 school year.

We are teaming up with BookNook and Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare to provide free virtual reading tutoring this fall for SCS students in grades 1-3.

As part of our 3rd Grade Commitment, we are working with families and the community to ensure SCS students reach reading readiness before the third grade.
