Last Saturday marked a monumental day in our program's historyβ€”we're State Champions!πŸ₯‡ Our speakers truly stepped up, as they always do, and achieved incredible success. Out of our 18 State attendees, 13 advanced to the finals, and we proudly celebrate two Individual State Champions: Esther Kapsner, who defended her title in Ex. Reading, and Teague Dusha, the State Champion in Great Speeches! With numerous other notable placements, we secured the team championship title for Class A for the third time! This isn't the end of the season for some speakers, as we're grateful to attend the NIETOC tournament from May 7-10 in Shakopee. We're still seeking funding to attend, so please consider contributing or reaching out to become a team sponsor! πŸ†

We're thrilled to announce that we're sending 18 speakers to State! Last Saturday, we brought our A-game to the Section Tournament in Minnewaska, with seven individual Section champions, and numerous notable placements! Sections is always an emotional rollercoaster for our team, especially when some of our most polished speakers narrowly miss qualifying for State. However, the incredible collective support our team showed made Saturday a truly memorable experience! Our team is committed and excited to continue our success at Park Center High School on Saturday, April 25th! πŸ†πŸ’ͺπŸŽ‰
