The 3 year old class yesterday colored a box to trap the St. Patrick's Day Leprechaun. They didn't catch him but he left some treats for the children.

Next week starts Dr. Seuss Week and here are the activities we are doing in our classrooms. Tuesday is spring picture day, dress accordingly and VPK will get their cap and gown pictures also.

We have open enrollment for VPK class starting in August, 2026. Go on www.ecs4kids.org to register you child and once you get your certificate, please bring it in so we can secure your spot!!!

Well it has been a busy start to the new year...we have had the VPK class complete FAST testing and every child is meeting their benchmarks.
We also had 4 of our classrooms complete the CLASS Observations and got a higher score than last year. To say we are proud of our teachers and staff is an understatement!
We will be celebrating Valentine's Day with a party and card exchanges on Thursday, February 12th.

A huge shout out to Ms. Jenn and Ms. Lori, our VPK for 2024-2025 got the certificate of Commendation of Excellence.....way to go, very proud moment!!!!

Midway's Halloween party is next Thurs. 10/30. We have goodie sheets to sign up for the party. We are asking for each family to bring in a bag of candy so the children can go trick or treating to the classes and they can wear their costumes, just bring a change of clothes. Thanks so much for making this possible and get ready for next months activity.
Also, don't forget it is red ribbon dress up week too!!!

Next week both Keystone and Melrose are celebrating Red Ribbon Week/Say No To Drugs........Midway is going to do their version too: Monday is wear red day, Tuesday is crazy hair day, Wednesday is crazy sock day, Thursday is Midway's Halloween Party so it is wear your costumes and bring change of clothes (don't forget to sign up for goodies for the party and every family bring in a bag of candy so our children can trick or treat) and on Friday it is wear your pajamas to school day. We hope everyone can participate and that the party on Thursday is a huge success!
