Mannheim Middle School, we are teaching students that doing the right thing quickly matters. If a student realizes they have a prohibited item, they have 5 minutes from the time they realize it to immediately turn it over to a trusted adult.

Students who follow the 5-Minute Rule may receive reduced disciplinary consequences. We encourage families to review this expectation with their child and remind them: Act quickly. Make the right choice.
