You're invited! Join us for a spook-tacular evening at the annual Melissa High School Community Trunk or Treat on Friday, October 30, 2026, in the MHS parking lot. The fun kicks off at 5:00 p.m. and wraps up at 7:00 p.m. MHS athletic teams, clubs, and organizations will participate by decorating their trunks, handing out candy, and hosting mini-games for the kids. This event not only brings our community together but also gives our students a chance to give back to the community that supports them. In case of bad weather, the event will be relocated to the Melissa High School gym.

✨ 100 Cheerful Chirps = COOKIE TIME! 🍪

At Highland, we love catching students doing the right thing! Our students earn Cheerful Chirps for showing good behavior, making positive choices, and helping make our school a great place to be.

Once we collected 100 Cheerful Chirps, we drew 15 names to enjoy a special celebration-and today's winners got to decorate (and EAT) some yummy sugar cookies!

Congratulations to this crew for being caught doing something worth celebrating! ❤️🖤

Keep those Cheerful Chirps coming, Cardinals!
