We had a GREAT first class at our new location! We were especially thankful for all of the equipment that was readily available (that I could not move in and out of class each week at our old location).

We are SO proud of our students that took part in our summer of service challenge, and our final numbers are in!

Nineteen students took up the gauntlet and chose to spend a portion of their summers in service to the community, through various outlets, and between those students, 435 service hours were earned!

We were incredibly excited to celebrate these student's accomplishments tonight with an ice cream party and take home goodies. The earthly rewards were great, but the eternal rewards will be greater.

Thank you to everyone who chose to dedicate their free time in service to others. You truly were the hands of Jesus in our community. Well done!

"Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity."

We are so grateful for the many hands that showed up for our final DMD work day! We not only had students and parents come to help, but also friends who do not attend our school and other friends that we haven't seen in years that just wanted to be a part of the great work being done. The Lord was SO good to us today, and we are truly thankful!

"A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed."

Proverbs 11:25

We are incredibly grateful to have joined North Texas Karate's 9th annual karate camp this weekend in Bridgeport!

Camp participants had the pleasure of attending many training seminars over the weekend: Sparring, Ground Fighting, Modern Arnis, Traditional Okinawan Karate, and Aikido. I was honored to teach the Wing Chun Kung Fu seminar as well.

In addition to the training, students had additional activities to enjoy over the weekend: outdoor games, swimming, learning traditional Jewish folklore dances, and special devotion times. I was very grateful to have led Friday night's devotion time, tying the Jewish Wedding Feast to the return of our Savior, while dispelling three common lies in our culture today. At the end, the Gospel was presented, and many seeds of truth were planted! Praise the Lord!

We are so thankful to have been a part of such a dynamic weekend, packed with Biblical truth, training, and fellowship. Many thanks to Mr. Starnes at NorthTexas KarateAcademy for including us and allowing our students the opportunity to continue to grow in their faith and training!

We are incredibly thankful for all of the willing hearts that showed up over the past couple weeks to help us with various jobs needing to be done at the new DMD building!

We are praising the Lord for the many hands that made for lighter work - and for the amount of work that got done.

THANK YOU all for braving the heat with us, sharing your time with us, and putting your energy into this project alongside us. A special thank you to all of our youth for serving with an eager, whole heart! And thank you to those who brought food and cold treats to help take the edge off the summer heat. It was truly appreciated.

Special thanks to our local American Heritage Girls troop for their selfless service today! They made our new building look AMAZING!

May the Lord bless you all for the love you have shown our family and ministry. Your fingerprints will forever be on the Kingdom work being done in our new space!
