Sit With Us meetings provide parents/guardians with an opportunity to come together and discuss ideas, concerns, and potential solutions regarding matters at Melissa Schools. The Melissa Cardinal boys and girls basketball teams will kick off the 2026-2027 season on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, with Melissa Madness! Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. in The Arena. An introduction to this year’s boys and girls varsity basketball teams, Melissa Madness is a chance for young Cardinals to meet-and-greet players and will feature games and prizes, a performance from the Melissa Cardinal Cheerleaders and the Ruby Belles, and a scrimmage from both basketball teams. Admission is free. It’s a night of hoops, music, and family fun, perfect for Cardinals of all ages. Bring your friends, cheer loud, and get ready to start the season with a bang. Go Cardinals! 🏀🔥

You're invited! Join us for a spook-tacular evening at the annual Melissa High School Community Trunk or Treat on Friday, October 30, 2026, in the MHS parking lot. The fun kicks off at 5:00 p.m. and wraps up at 7:00 p.m. MHS athletic teams, clubs, and organizations will participate by decorating their trunks, handing out candy, and hosting mini-games for the kids. This event not only brings our community together but also gives our students a chance to give back to the community that supports them. In case of bad weather, the event will be relocated to the Melissa High School gym.

The festivities kick-off Monday with themed dress-up days, followed by the Homecoming parade and Community Pep Rally on Wednesday. The week wraps up with the Melissa Homecoming football game against the Frisco Centennial Titans on Friday, Oct. 9.
