🚨 End-of-School Year Update 🚨

Good news BPS Fam🎉 Thanks to a full school year with no hurricane day closures, all required instructional minutes will be completed earlier than planned! Here's what that means for families:

💛The last day for students is Friday, May 22, 2026. (5/20-5/22/26 will be early release days for exams.)

💚While teachers will still be working on May 26–27 for required planning days, students will not attend school on those dates.

💛Childcare services are being planned to begin earlier to help accommodate the additional days students will be off school. More details will be shared as plans are finalized.

💛All other end of school ceremonies, to include Kindergarten and 6th grade promotion assemblies, are determined by each school. Please contact your school to confirm dates have not changed.

Sunscreen ready. Backpacks optional. Summer mode: unlocked. 😎🎒

School Resource Officer Appreciation Day – Sunday, February 15 💙🐼

We want to give a HUGE shoutout to Officer Mullin, who is truly one of the greatest blessings to University Park Elementary and our Panda family.

Officer Mullin is so much more than a school resource officer. He is a protector, a mentor, a role model, and a friend to our students. He greets our Pandas with a smile, builds meaningful relationships, and makes our campus feel safe, calm, and cared for every single day. His presence brings reassurance to our staff, students, and families alike.

Whether he’s helping during arrival, checking in on students, supporting school events, or simply taking the time to listen, Officer Mullin leads with kindness, patience, and heart. Our students look up to him, trust him, and know that he genuinely cares about them.

University Park is better because of him.

Officer Mullin, thank you for your dedication, your service, and the love you show our Panda community. We are beyond grateful for you — and we are so lucky you are ours! 💙🐼
