The Arkansas Activities Association summer dead period is June 21, and runs through Sunday, July 5.

During this time, there can be no coach-athlete contact, workouts, practices, camps, or use of school athletic facilities. All facilities are closed.

All athletic activities my resume on Monday, July 6, 2026.

Thank you for helping us remain in compliance with AAA regulations! Enjoy this time to spend with your families and reset.

🍎 FREE SUMMER MEALS FOR CHILDREN ☀️
The Melbourne School District is pleased to offer free summer meals for children through the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) during Summer 2026. This program helps ensure children continue to receive nutritious meals while school is out of session.

📦 Meal Delivery Information:
• Deliveries will take place every Monday
• Delivery window: 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
• An adult must be available to receive the meals

For food safety and quality, meals cannot be left unattended.

Every single day, you show up early, stay patient, and safely carry our kids to and from school. You greet them with a smile, keep a watchful eye, and often become a familiar, comforting part of their routine.

Your job isn’t easy. It takes focus, responsibility, and a whole lot of heart. Through busy mornings, long routes, and all kinds of weather, you make sure our students arrive safely—and that peace of mind means everything to families.

Today, we celebrate YOU and all the care, dedication, and hard work you put in behind the wheel.

If you see your bus driver this week, take a moment to say thank you—they truly deserve it. 🙌

Lil' Lady Katz Volleyball Game day is coming up, and we couldn’t be more excited for you to see what your daughter has learned in volleyball this year!

Please plan to arrive 10–15 minutes before your scheduled game time in the High School Gym.

Game Schedule:

3rd & 4th Grade – 4:00 PM
5th & 6th Grade – 5:00 PM

All of our Lil’ Lady Katz will receive a special gift after their game, made possible by the generosity of our parents and donations from Southern Spark, Box Farms, and Tim Massey.
