Is your Bobcat taking part in the reading and math I-Ready lessons this summer? ➕📚✖️

I-Ready lessons in both Reading and Math your child may complete over the summer were emailed out before the school year ended along with a record for tracking. 📝

These lessons are important pre-requisite skills that will give your child a solid foundation for success in the next grade level. I-Ready lessons will remain available through July 10, 2026.

Students who complete these lessons will be rewarded by their school when they return in August. Your student will log on by accessing their Launchpad through the BPS website with their username and password.

Students rising to K-6 in 2026-2027 are challenged to fill out the reading log with activities and books read! It’s going to be a fun way to track reading!

Summer readers turning in logs will be rewarded in August. But for extra rewards, check out the local places offering reading rewards!

Members of Team Longleaf spent two days at the Brevard Public Schools (official) Ascend Conference using student data to write the School Improvement Plan. Our Longleaf vision is to create engaging, student-centered classrooms where prepared teachers provide clear procedures, explicit instruction, visible learning targets, and meaningful supports. Through collaboration, student accountability, and differentiated support, all students are empowered to learn, grow, and achieve success.

Ordering school supplies selected by your student’s teacher and delivered to your child’s classroom is the easiest way to shop for school supplies! Our PTO offers this program to keep costs down while providing quality items in a convenient way. Order by July 1 to participate. ✂️📝🖍️

Long Dogger’s manager, Justin Hayes, accepted the award for Business Partner of the year.🌭

Longleaf PTO president, Kristina Richard, accepted the award on behalf of the PTO as the Not-for-Profit Partner of the Year. 💙🩵

Our Longleaf Partner in Education coordinator, Eddy Lynn Kledzik received an award as well for supporting the PIE program. 🥧
