CIP Brevard students are back for the Fall Term and they’re already putting their skills into practice!

From cooking their own meals and sharing dinner with roommates, to spending time with friends and heading out for some arcade fun, students are experiencing the everyday moments that make life at CIP so meaningful.

Learning at CIP doesn’t just happen in the classroom. Students live, learn, and grow alongside their peers—building independence, strengthening social skills, supporting one another, and making memories along the way.

It’s about more than learning how to live independently. It’s about making friends, finding community, and living a fuller life.

Here’s to another great term at CIP Brevard and across all five CIP Centers!

✨ The CIP Brevard Center's Spring Engagement Trip to Walt Disney World Resort was packed with adventure, discovery, and unforgettable memories!

Students explored some of Disney’s most iconic attractions, including TRON Lightcycle / Run, Space Mountain, Haunted Mansion, It’s a Small World, Avatar Flight of Passage, Expedition Everest, and Kilimanjaro Safaris. They also enjoyed the incredible Festival of the Lion King, met beloved Disney characters, and wrapped up the experience at Disney’s Hollywood Studios with adventures in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and the thrilling Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.

Beyond the excitement, students continued building confidence and independence by managing schedules, adapting to unexpected changes, making group decisions, and navigating busy park days with growing responsibility and self-assurance.

We’re proud of all they accomplished while making memories that will last a lifetime!

The CIP Brevard Center marked Autism Awareness Month in true Gatsby style at their Unmasking Autism Spring Formal. The celebration was as meaningful as it was memorable. This special evening brought together students, staff, and members of the community — all united by a shared commitment of inclusion and support.

Students and staff from all five CIP Centers came together for an unforgettable Global Engagement Trip through the heart of Eastern Europe! Over ten incredible days, CIP’s neurodiverse young adults explored the historic cities of Budapest, Kraków, and Prague—experiencing rich culture, deep history, and meaningful connection every step of the way.
