🌈💙 Today, Beyond was BRIGHT for Xia-Gibbs Syndrome Awareness! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Today our students and staff filled Beyond the Spectrum ABA Center with color in honor of Xia-Gibbs Syndrome Awareness Week, and seeing everyone together meant more to me than I can really put into words.
If you've followed our story, you know that Xia-Gibbs isn't simply a cause our center supports. Xia-Gibbs is part of our family's story—and part of the story of how Beyond began.
Kaden was the reason I first dreamed of creating this place. As his mom, I wanted somewhere he could be safe, close to me, understood, and surrounded by peers with unique needs like his—somewhere he could learn, socialize, build relationships, and belong.
That dream became Beyond the Spectrum ABA Center. 💙
So today, looking around and seeing our staff and ALL of these incredible kids dressed in bright colors for Xia-Gibbs felt pretty special.
What began as an effort to create the right place for one child has grown into a community where we get to create that same sense of safety, acceptance, friendship, and belonging for so many others.
And somehow, that feels like the perfect way to end Xia-Gibbs Awareness Week 🌈
To our staff, students, and families who wore their brightest colors today: thank you for showing up for Kaden, our family, and the entire Xia-Gibbs community. Every picture, conversation, share, and person who learns the words Xia-Gibbs Syndrome helps make a rare diagnosis a little less invisible.
Today was colorful.�Today was joyful.�And today was incredibly personal❤️
Xia-Gibbs is our story. Beyond is part of what we've built from that story. And we're so grateful that all of you are now part of it, too. 🌈💙
