This week was filled with Lots and Lots of L’s! We had all kinds of Leaf activities…..hunting, measuring, throwing and more 🍁 The Campbell County Librarian came this week. The students always love her stories and activities. We enjoyed a lot of outside time, and went to the Outdoor Learning Center for Gardening with Ms. Amanda. We saw everything that was growing ….okra, peppers, flowers, lambs ear, lemon balm and lettuce. We sang a Leaf song, went on a Leaf hunt and made Leaf wands. We also planted and watered spinach.

Go to Fundraising.LittleCaesars.com and select Buy Now and order before 11/2. Our Fundraiser ID # is 65248. Orders will arrive the week of 11/16. They can be picked up at St. Joseph Camp Springs. Please add a textable phone number to your order so we can let you know the exact pickup date and time when we get it.

If you don’t live close to us for pickup, no worries! You can purchase a Meal Deal code and they will email it to you to use at your local Little Caesars.

We spent the week learning Letter P. On Monday, the students were in three groups and built houses out of different items just like The Three Little Pigs story. One group used blocks, another used Legos and the third used magnetic building pieces. Ms. Tina brought in her leaf blower to see which building could stand the longest. The magnetic pieces won! The students had a great time with this activity.

We investigated the inside of a Pumpkin, scooping out the seeds and feeling the texture of the inside.

We also had Prince and Princess Day, wear black and white like a Penguin day, PJ and Pizza day and then we ended the week spending time with our Grandparents. So much fun!
