Science in Full View!

We currently have a science table for all to see!

We have three caterpillar 🐛 cages. Each one has a monarch caterpillar in the cocoon stage.

Ms. Courtney was kind enough to share another science experience with Pre-K. She brought some of her duck 🦆 eggs in a candling incubator, and we are waiting for them to hatch. 🐣

So much live action science taking place right before our very eyes!

Room #3

This week is Letter A and Apple week. During snack, Ms. Tina’s class predicted whether the parts of an apple 🍎 would sink or float. Take a look!

Rm #3 (2 of 2)

Ms. Tina’s class is off to a great start this school year! Friends were reunited, many new friends were made, and a lot of fun and learning was crammed into our first three days. 😃

We drank Jitter Juice after reading the book, First Day Jitters. We learned that everyone, even our teachers, have the first day jitters.

It didn’t take long to get rid of those jitters though. The students had too many activities that they wanted to join in on.

They enjoyed playing in Centers building with blocks, exploring in science, making dinner for their friends in dramatic play, and so much more!

We had a lot of fun at the playground too, and the kids really like the new rock area of the playground. A lot of children are challenging themselves to the monkey bars already.

We also had fun making and eating our All About Me pizzas. 🍕

I think everyone is excited to come back next week!! 😃

Ms. April’s room had a great first week! We learned each others names, made new friends, made “All about me pizzas”, talked about our likes and dislikes and I think everyone’s favorite was playing outside on the playground!
