We will meet at the anchorage at 9am tomorrow morning to issue gear from the dive locker for anyone who needs it. Please bring mask, fins, snorkel, wet suit and weights/weight belt. We will then proceed to the aquatic center for confined water evaluations. That will be it for tomorrow. First day at the lake on Sunday. I'll provide details tomorrow. If you have not yet provided your dive medical and DAN insurance, please bring it tomorrow. If your doctor said he/she would provide it to me, please reach out to them to insure he/she has done so. Thanks, Tim

Dive training tomorrow and Sunday. Meet at the anchorage at 8 am tomorrow morning. Bring mask, fins, snorkel, wetsuit, weights and weight belt as a minimum. I'd also recommend a towel and food/drink. I'll put an email out with more information to the group shortly.
Module 1 tomorrow at the Merten's Center - Anchorage. 8 am.
Swim tests beginning at 12 and ending at 2 today and tomorrow. Dave Beach will be conducting the swim test today. If you aren’t able to make it today or tomorrow, we will be able to do it Saturday or Sunday in between module one training. Please ensure you complete your DAN online training requirements before the weekend.
2024 Scientific Dive Training Program candidates:
• If you expressed interest in the course, you should have received an email requesting your intent to actually enroll in the course. So far, only 4 of you have responded. If you have not yet responded, I need to hear from you ASAP. For those of you who have responded, expect an email soon with more information about the upcoming training and documentation requirements.
• Module 1 is scheduled to take place this coming weekend (March 2nd and 3rd). I am having issues with the DAN online training website and as a result, am unable to invite you to the online portion of this module. The online portion is required BEFORE we meet for practical training components. I am trying to get this resolved with DAN training but as time is drawing short, we may have to re-schedule this module for a later date. As of right now, that is the safest assumption to make. I do apologize but this is currently out of my control.
I will post updates as expeditiously as I can. Don't sweat it. We will get this off the ground and make it happen.
