An interesting read about the difference (and effectiveness) of setting intentions instead of resolutions!!
"Becoming aware of how you would like to feel about yourself and beginning to make your changes from that place
will help you to be more realistic when deciding upon your intentions. This self-awareness will also give you more
incentive to actually follow through on the steps you will need to take to reach your goals.
You may well find that this kind of inner change brings your intentions to fruition more swiftly
than trying to "fix" yourself from the outside in..."
New Year's resolutions? Try intentions instead.
In the immortal words of John Lennon, another year is over and a new one's just begun. Isn't it interesting how we, as a society, agree that this is the time to give ourselves and our lives a complete and total new makeover?

Check out this great message from Manda, a Wellspring California camper this past summer:
I just wanted to say that today All of you Wellspring campers truly inspired, and helped me get through a fitness class today. Those of you that joined in the Fun, and Awesomeness that was Hanna's Zumba classes this summer in CA alongside me should remember having some laughs as I tried Really hard to follow along with you all! Haha
So today I decided to once again jump into a Zumba class...I wish I could have taped it for those of you that expressed struggle and frustration in one way or another (Rimac Hill for example), because this class was my Rimac hill:) As I got frustrated with myself and my uncoordinated legs haha- I could feel my scrunched face, & looks of wait what? A few of you popped up in my mind and I found myself instead of creeping slowly or more so sprinting to the door to get back into my comfort zone, laughing and pressing on shaking off one missed move to the next. You kids are amazing and the things you worked hard at and accomplished daily never escape my mind. I hope you all are having a great winter and are getting in some awesome workouts, perhaps even trying a new class or winter sport! Sending lots of love, appreciation, positive vibes, and encouragement your way!! 😊
Cheers!
Amanda
