Melbourne High School Chorus

Today’s senior (officially alumna now) is Sarah Wills! Sarah has been in chorus for all four years of high school! She sang with Cantare and Bella Voce! She will be studying at Auburn University for Computer Engineering. Her favorite chorus memory was sophomore year at Steinmetz! Her advice to current and future CHUS students is “Don’t be afraid to have fun, you will regret it if you don’t live in the moment.” We are SO proud of you Sarah!!

Happy Graduation Day!! Today’s senior is Avanelle Stanley! Avanelle has been in chorus for all four years of high school and is a member of the CHUS board. She has sung with Cantare, Bella Voce, Concert Chorus, and Chamber Choir. She has also been a member of the Brevard All County Chorus! After graduation Avanelle plans on attending EFSC then transferring to UCF and majoring in English. Her favorite chorus memory was singing “I’ll Tell My Ma”with Bella Voce her sophomore year at the Steinmetz Hall. Her advice for current and future CHUS students is “Audition for that solo. Take chances, be confident, AND HAVE FUN!“ We are SO proud of you Avanelle!

Today’s senior is Makenzi Shipley! Makenzi has been in chorus for all four years of high school! She has been in chorus with us at MHS for two years! She transferred to us her junior year and has sung with Bella Voce both years. After graduation she will be attending Keiser University to complete a two year sonography program and earn her A.A degree. Her favorite chorus memory was junior year mpa, the bus ride back specifically. Her advice for current and future CHUS students is “enjoy it while you can, don’t take it for granted because it goes fast.” We are SO proud of you Makenzi!

Today’s senior is Samantha Rodriguez! Sam has been in chorus for all four years of high school and is a member of the CHUS board! She has sung with Cantare, Bella Voce, Concert Chorus, and Chamber Choir! After graduation she plans to get a bachelors degree in biology and then move on to studying optometry. Her favorite chorus memory is everyday in Chamber getting to laugh and make music with the most amazing people. Her advice to current and future CHUS students is “Always take in each moment, remember that you’ll never find anything like this program anywhere else so don’t take it for granted and be present.” We are SO proud of you Sam!!

Today’s senior is Mackenzie Reilly! Kenzie has been in chorus for all four years of high school and is a CHUS board member! Kenzie has sung with Cantare and Bella Voce. After graduation Kenzie will be attending Ole Miss and majoring in Elementary Education in hopes to be a Second grade teacher. Her favorite chorus memory was the Steinmetz hall, singing no time, for the last time. Her advice to current and future CHUS students is “Enjoy your time in this program. This family feeling you wont get anywhere else!” We are SO proud of you Kenzie!!

Today’s senior is Logan Riley! Logan has been in chorus for all four years of high school! He has sung with Melodia, Concert Chorus and Chamber Choir! He has been a member of the Brevard All County Chorus and the Florida All State Chorus! After graduation he plans to get his Undergraduate degree in Materials Engineering at Auburn University. His favorite chorus memory was All State in 2025! His advice for current and future CHUS students is “try out for concert and chamber.” We are SO proud of you Logan!

Our second senior today is Olivia Nash! Olivia has been in chorus for two years! She has sung with Cantare and Bella Voce! After graduation she plans to go to University of North Florida to pursue psychology. Her favorite chorus memory was this year’s spring concert it was “the most fun I’ve had at a chorus concert!” Her advice to current and future CHUS students is “make friends, it’s a lot more fun if you know the people you’re spending time with.” We are SO proud of you Olivia!

Today we are honoring Bayley Matthews who is graduating early as a junior. Bayley has been in chorus for three years and has sung with Cantare, Bella Voce, Concert Chorus and Chamber Choir! She has been a member of the Brevard All County Chorus and a member of the Florida All State Chorus! After graduation Bayley will be joining Brevard County Sheriffs Office as a Corrections Deputy! Her favorite chorus memory was going to state MPA last year for the first time and singing the two songs that will stay with her forever, Joy, and Sing me to Heaven. Her advice to current and future CHUS students is “Just remember that in chorus you have something that others don’t, your connection with your group is something that you should never let go of, they’re your family. Being able to make beautiful music with others is a gift.“ We are SO proud of you Bayley!

Today’s senior is Camden Martingano! Camden has been in chorus for all four years of high school and is our Chorus President! He has sung with Melodia, Concert Chorus and Chamber Choir! He has been a member of the Brevard All County Chorus and the Florida All State Chorus! After graduation, Camden is going to “GO TO COLLEGE AND GET MORE KNOWLEDGE. And keep being myself.“ His favorite chorus memory was “singing Santa Baby with everyone, it was a perfect mix of fun, meaningful, and ensemble. Seeing everyone back stage just mwah 👨‍🍳💋.” His advice for current and future CHUS students is “Do everything you want! Even if you’re scared… SPECIALLY if you’re scared!” We are SO proud of you Camden!

Our second senior of the day is Angel Malave Vega! Angel has been in chorus for three years and has sung with Melodia and Concert Chorus! After graduation he plans to attend Eastern Florida and study Sports Medicine, and play Soccer for them. After two years he plans to transfer to UCF. Angel’s favorite chorus memory is this year’s Spring Concert. “It was the most enjoyable concert I have had in high school.” His advice to current and future CHUS students is “enjoy every moment and make the most of it.” We are SO proud of you Angel!!
