𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫, 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐭. Neither are new. Both are already in place.

The first is the 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐱 — a sales tax renewal that funds safe, maintained, and modern school facilities.

The Surtax is the small portion of sales tax that stays right here in Brevard to keep school buildings safe, in good repair, and up to date. It funds three things: 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬, 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞.

✨ **WHAT A NIGHT! WELCOME TO A NEW SCHOOL YEAR!** ✨

Tonight’s Open House was absolutely unforgettable! Our 1st through 6th-grade families came out in full force to tour classrooms, meet our incredible teachers, and officially kick off the school year together. 🎒🏫

Our amazing spirit team brought the ultimate energy, keeping the crowds pumped and the cheers loud all night long! 🎉📣 The biggest excitement came during our Ron Clark Academy House Sorting. Students opened mystery Easter eggs to reveal their official House color wristbands! 🥚⚡ The room erupted as each student officially joined their new lifelong school family.

As the school year gets underway, parents naturally want things to go well.

We want good teachers. Good grades. Good friendships. Smooth mornings.
