As I get older, I’m learning so much about myself. About my views, what I stand firmly on, where I can compromise, and where I absolutely will not.

I’m learning that I crave genuine soul connections. Not just in intimate relationships, but in every relationship I choose to hold space for. I find myself focusing less on appearances and more on the inner workings of a person… their heart, their energy, their intentions, their softness.

I want peace. I want understanding. I want tolerance. I want the kind of connection where we can share weird little moments like, “Don’t forget to set the water out, it’s a full moon tonight,” and “F**k these political asshats on the right,” and where someone says “I understand you” instead of “I know you.”

Because the truth is… I have changed. A lot. And I will continue to.

Grow with me, not away from me. ✨

Mother Earth 🌎 is not just nurturing, she is endurance. In myth across cultures, she is not soft in the way people expect. She creates, sustains, and reclaims. Everything is born from her, fed by her and eventually returns to her. 🔄

She gives life 🌱.

And she takes it back 🪾.

Without hesitation.

Because her power is not in attachment. It is in cycle 🔄 . There is a version of you that gave without limits. That held everything together, supported everyone, carried more than you should have believing that your strength was in how much you could endure.

But even the earth 🌎 has boundaries.
Seasons change 🍂. Ground shifts. What no longer grows is released.

Mother Earth 🌎 does not cling to what cannot thrive. She lets it go. And that is the part most people ignore. Because nurturing is not meant to come at the cost of your own stability. Giving is not meant to drain you. Supporting is not meant to leave you empty.

You were never meant to hold everything. 🤲🏼

You were meant to sustain what is aligned. 🧘🏻‍♀️

And release 🗣️what is not. So if you feel like you’ve been carrying too much, giving too much, holding onto things that no longer grow. Look at the earth 🌎 .

She does not question when it’s time to shed. She does not hesitate when something has reached its end. She trusts the cycle 🔄 .

And so should you.

Because your power is not just in what you can hold together, It is in what you are strong enough to release.

The Universe is trying to get my attention!

What is now called Easter did not begin as a Christian holiday. It comes from much older, land-based traditions tied to the Spring Equinox, the moment where day and night stand equal, and the earth begins to shift out of winter.

This was not symbolic. It was survival.

Winter, in pre-Christian Europe, was a period of depletion. Food stores ran low, the land was unworkable, and death was a constant presence. So when the equinox arrived, it wasn’t celebrated because it was beautiful it was recognised because it meant life was returning.

This is where the connection to Eostre comes in, a figure associated with dawn, fertility, and the renewal of the earth. While historical references are limited, the seasonal rite itself is undeniable. This period marked the beginning of growth, not in theory, but in the physical world people depended on.

The equinox was a threshold. A point of balance before light began to dominate. From this moment forward, the days grew longer, the ground softened, animals began reproducing, and the agricultural cycle could begin again.

The symbols that still exist today are not decorative. They come directly from this reality.

Eggs 🥚 represented life 🌱 contained within something that appeared still and lifeless, mirroring🪞 the state of the 🌎 in early spring 🌸. Hares, later turned into 🐇 in modern imagery, were tied to fertility cycles 🔄 because of how rapidly they reproduce. These were not cute traditions they were direct reflections 🪞 of what people were witnessing👀 in nature🌱.

🪄✨Rituals during this time were not passive celebrations 🎉. They were acts of participation. People worked the land, offered to it, buried eggs 🥚 to encourage fertility, lit fires 🔥 to mirror 🪞 the strengthening 💪 sun ☀️ , and marked the shift from death into growth. This was a relationship with the cycle 🔄 , not an observation of it.

When Christianity spread, these practices were not removed. They were absorbed and reshaped. The timing remained in spring 🌸, the themes of rebirth were preserved, but the meaning was redirected into the resurrection of Christ ✝️. Even the name Easter is widely believed to trace back to Eostre in Anglo-Saxon regions, though this is debated.

But the key difference is timing ⏱️ .

Modern pagan practice does not follow the church’s movable date. It follows the land. Ostara, or Eostre, is observed at the Spring Equinox, around March 20-23, because that is when the shift actually occurs.

This is not a celebration of something that has already happened. It is the beginning of something that is about to grow.

If you are working with this period, the focus is not on passive meaning. It is on alignment. Clearing what has stagnated through winter ❄️ , setting intentions that will take time to develop, and recognising that this is the phase where energy ⚡️ begins to return but has not yet reached its peak 📈.

This is not the height of power. It is the awakening of it.

And once you understand that, you STOP celebrating it as a tradition, and start using it as a point of entry into the cycle 🔄 itself.

Some feel uncomfortable. Some feel like endings. Some feel like chaos before clarity.

If you’ve been feeling different lately - emotionally, spiritually, mentally - pay attention.

Not everything is random. Some of it is seasonal. Some of it is energetic. Some of it is just your soul refusing to stay where it has outgrown.

Old paths knew this.
Old traditions respected this.
And whether you believe in it or not… the moon still moves the tides, and the tides still move us. 🌊🌙

In many pagan and witchcraft traditions, new moons are used for setting intentions and starting new cycles. Be intentional, follow through, and my friends, story wasting the beauty of each cycle.

• May 1–5 - Beltane (next major pagan holiday, exciting)! This is a time of major spring fertility and fire festivals which as you may know is one of the biggest in many pagan traditions.

So if you’ve been hearing any talk about “energy shifts,” a lot of that comes from:

• The recent full moon (Pink Moon 4/1)
• Spring seasonal change
• Upcoming Beltane, which is again, a major pagan celebration

From a pagan/witchcraft perspective specifically, right now is considered:

• A release phase (after full moon)
• A time for:
• letting go
•clearing emotional clutter
•grounding before the next new moon

That’s why you might see the likeminded talking about:

• cleansing
• protection rituals
• emotional shifts
• relationship tension or realizations

These themes line up with traditional full-moon symbolism.
