Our amazing teachers and staff will be back in just a couple of weeks, and we can't wait to welcome them for another incredible year with our Cardinal families!

If you'd like to help us kick off the year by stocking our staff lounge with snacks, drinks, coffee, tissues, disinfecting wipes, gift cards, or fun classroom supplies, for staff giveaways we'd be so grateful!

Donations may be dropped off at our front office Monday–Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Thank you for helping us show our staff just how appreciated they are and start the school year with full hearts (and full snack baskets)!. ❤️

Summer is coming to an end and school is back in session in three weeks!

If you have NOT opened your FOCUS account and have NOT clicked the green enroll now button, you must do so NOW!
If your child is not enrolled for the 2026-27 school year, a teacher will not be assigned to them.

Meet the Teacher day is scheduled from 8:30 - 11:30 on Thursday, August 6th.

Times will be by Last Name (follow your youngest child's time block). To eliminate hallway congestion please adhere to the times listed below.

A –F , 8:30 – 9:30
G – N, 9:30 – 10:30
O – Z, 10:30 – 11:30

Supplies may be brought to school on this day, and the school nurse will be available to check in medications as well.

Croton Elementary climbed TWO letter grades this year to earn an A-rating! Huge congratulations to our students for all their hard work and brainpower, and thank you to our teachers, staff and families for supporting them every step of the way. The future looks bright!

This event is only for students that will be a part of Johnson's Cambridge program as 7th graders during the upcoming school year. It is a great way for these students to get to know their teachers, the school, and some of their classmates. Please consider having your child attend if they will be a 7th grader in the Cambridge program at Johnson during the 2026-2027 school year!

📣 Attention Parents of Incoming 7th Grade Cambridge Students!

We’re excited to welcome our newest Cambridge scholars to Cambridge Camp on July 22–23, 2026, from 8:30 AM–12:00 PM at Johnson Middle School.

This two‑day camp gives students a chance to meet their teachers, explore the campus, build connections, and get a strong start before the school year begins. The cost is $35, which includes a Cambridge t‑shirt, swag, snacks, and all activities.

Registration is open now — please complete the Google Form and submit payment in FOCUS by June 30th.

Our learning doesn’t stop! A team from Croton is attending “Ascend” and preparing to lead our Cardinals into excellence in the 2026-2027 school year.

What a fun day for our Croton students! 🎉Today students who still had CARE Bucks💰were able to use them to Silly String a volunteer staff member. We had approximately 150 students participate and used 230 cans of silly string. 🤪

Early Release Days are Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday this week. Dismissal is at 1:30 each of these days. The last day of school is Friday, May 22nd. Have a great summer!
