Today, we celebrated one of Johnson Middle School’s most cherished traditions—the Bus Wave-Out! 💙🚌☀️

As the buses pulled away for the final time this school year, there were smiles, cheers, hugs, and more than a few tears. The last day always brings a mix of emotions: joy for the memories made, pride in how much our students have grown, and a little sadness as we say goodbye to those moving on to high school.

To all of our students, families, faculty, and staff—thank you for making this school year one to remember. Have a safe, fun, and well-deserved summer break!

Exciting news from the Johnson Middle School Lady Bird Johnson Garden! 🌿🍑

Today, the garden celebrated a sweet milestone — the very first peach was picked by Ms. Rua! This special moment is a beautiful reminder of the hard work, patience, and care that goes into growing something from the ground up.

Teacher Appreciation Week at Johnson Middle School was truly one of the BEST ever, and it would not have been possible without the incredible support of our parents and guardians!

Thank you for your generous donations of snack cart items and gift cards, and for the absolutely delicious breakfast on Friday morning. Your kindness, thoughtfulness, and support made our teachers and staff feel so appreciated and celebrated all week long.

We are beyond grateful for our amazing Johnson community. Thank you for helping make this week so special for the educators who give so much to our students every day! 💙💛

🌟✨ May the 4th was strong with our incredible teachers at Johnson Middle School! ✨🌟

We kicked off Teacher Appreciation in true Jedi style—our staff received their official Jedi names and began their first challenge of the week! From coffee and donuts to laughter and friendly competition, the energy was out of this galaxy. 🚀

The Force is clearly with our teachers, and we’re just getting started! Stay tuned as they continue their journey through challenges, celebrations, and well-deserved appreciation throughout the week. 💫

🌞 ♻️ Science in action!

Our Science Research students took renewable energy from theory to reality this week by designing and building their own solar ovens!

After some intense (and sunny!) competition, the winning oven reached an impressive 165°F 🔥—a fantastic achievement that shows just how powerful renewable energy can be when innovation meets science.
