Anchor phrases are those quick, everyday reactions that keep a conversation flowing. If you try to translate things like “Que s**o” or “Já era” directly, it just doesn’t work.

Here is how you actually say them:
Já era ➔ It’s over / It’s too late
Eu pago ➔ It’s on me / My treat
Vale a pena ➔ It’s worth it
Que s**o ➔ It’s annoying! /That sucks /What a pain
É o suficiente ➔ That’s enough / It’s enough!

In this video, we are using the present continuous tense to talk about what is happening right now.

Here is the vocabulary breakdown:
1️⃣ I’m squeezing toothpaste onto my toothbrush. (Estou colocando pasta na minha escova.)

2️⃣ I’m brushing my teeth. (Estou escovando meus dentes.)

3️⃣ I’m putting the toothpaste away. (Estou guardando a pasta de dente.)

4️⃣ I’m rinsing my mouth with mouthwash. (Estou enxaguando minha boca com enxaguante bucal.)

5️⃣ I’m drying my mouth with a towel. (Estou secando minha boca com uma toalha.)

Learning English through daily habits is the best way to make the vocabulary stick!
