The Invention Convention Scientists are coming to Medina High School Middle Auditorium at 6:30pm on December 9, 2014! Come see some fantastic and zany scientists! You may even get to go up on stage!

Discovery T.E.A.M. Highlights: 4th and 5th graders at H.G. Blake and Garfield are working diligently to solve the Mystery Disease problem in Barrell County! They have come up with a diagnosis and are working as county health officials to contain the disease and determine a plan to counter this in the future. 5th grade advanced math students are challenged by a bi-weekly problem of the week and a bi-weekly math stunner every Wednesday. 4th grade math stuudents are embarking on Math Forum online math weekly problems! This will start next week at Blake and Garfield. Younger students needing an extra challenge in math are being introduced to extension games and websites for use in their classrooms based on the classroom curriculum. Plans for the Invention Convention are beginning! More to come! Robotics club is starting for 4th and 5th graders and 24 Club is up and running for 4th graders. More to come as the year progresses!
