Medina FFA greenhouse is open so stop on by and see what the students have been growing this school year. Several varieties still available for purchase as follows: some prices are at a discount because it is the end of the school year.

On Tuesday, June 2nd, our chapter and Ag classes hosted Ag Appreciation Day an event that students look forward to every year and one of our favorite opportunities to share agriculture with them. 🌾💙💛

Maddy placed 6th individual for the Vet Science CDE competition Maddy and Ms J went back Saturday morning so she could receive her medal, we are so beyond proud of this accomplishment for her!!!

What a busy week it’s been for our Chapter! Started it off with the FFA Awards Banquet Tuesday April 28th where members were recognized for their accomplishments and New 2026-2027 officers were installed.

Thursday a group of members compete at the Niagara Orleans Envirothon Competition

Thursday and Friday members volunteered their time to educate elementary students at Oak Orchard about agriculture while making butter.

The Medina School District FFA Chapter extends its gratitude to the numerous staff, students, and FFA members, as well as community supporters, for their contributions to the Birthday Cake Kit Challenge through NYS FFA and NYS Grange, which potentially impacted the lives of at least 102 individuals or families. A total of 102 kits were donated to two local food pantries, demonstrating an effective way to give back to the community.

Every dollar raised by the AdironDuck Race is put directly toward keeping summer camp costs low.

Help our FFA members earn credit towards summer camp/ and a chance to win for yourself also! For every $10 duck, a school gets credit for selling, we will give that school 50% of that money back as "Duck Bucks". Duck Bucks can be used anytime in the next 12 months for any purchases made at Oswegatchie. This includes summer camp fees, winter weekends, ELPs, and store purchases. This is a great way to help you and an FFA chapter simultaneously. There are no duck bucks rewarded for sales on the Silver Duck Dash.

Agriculture Literacy Week 2026 was a huge success for our FFA Chapter!

During March 16th-20th, we had an amazing time visiting with all of the second grade classes and sharing our passion for agriculture. Our FFA members and officers did a fantastic job engaging students, answering questions, and helping them learn where their food comes from and why agriculture is so important in our everyday lives. This years selection was "Seasons on the Farm" by Chelsea Tornetto: Featured in New York, focusing on year-round farm life and food production.

It was inspiring to see so much curiosity and excitement from the students while we may have some future FFA members in the making! Thank you to everyone who helped make this week such a hit! 💙💛
