"Our interest is appealing to the adult market. We've found that there are many adults who are interested in being safer and protecting their loved ones. The problem is that they are not overly interested in the martial arts academy format. One of the biggest reasons that adults are not drawn to an Adult Martial Arts Program is that they really don't understand it or don't see the VALUE in it. They think it is "just for kids," or that they have to wear the 'funny pajamas' and follow a bunch of commands in some foreign language. They also think that they'll get injured and will be bossed about.

​Google "Self Defense" in your area. Click the top 3 listings. Look at this through the eyes of your adult NON-MARTIAL ARTIST prospects. What will you see? A bunch of guys in strange costumes showing off a bunch of trophies and how many boards they can break, and a listing of all the masters and grandmasters (that your market DOES NOT KNOW) they have trained under. Credentials and trophies and board breaking and all that...

The non-martial artist doesn't care about that.

I take that back. Less than 3% of the adult market cares about that. Most people say that all of that stuff is intimidating to them and they are turned off by the huge over-the-top accolades and credentials."
