MedinaSup Accurate, timely school updates and celebrations. Respectful conversation. Schools are a true reflection of the communities they serve.

Public education is at the heart of our communities and is vital in the development of our youth. Schools not only teach math, science, social studies, and language arts but also morals and values that are held by the community. I believe that this is the main reason why districts have been set up in a capacity for local governance through elected board members. It is important to me to not only e

ducate our students to prepare them for college and careers but also develop a pride not only in the schools but community, state, and country. This is why my family has always played a central role in the districts I have been a part of and why I have strived to advance my career in a leadership capacity. I want to be a part of making great communities and schools. My family is the most important thing in my life. My wife and I have been together since high school. We have three children (two girls and a boy) ranging in age from middle school to lower elementary. I spend as much time as possible with them traveling, participating in athletics, visiting museums, and playing video games. My family has always become a part of the district I have been employed by through attending and supporting various school and community events. This is an important part of my leadership philosophy. I am an avid runner, I love to travel the country and world, and enjoy watching sports.

It was great to see so many of our students and families back in our schools tonight! I stopped by Medina High School for Parent 101 and Open House and then visited Fenn Elementary for their Open House.

There’s a special energy when our hallways begin filling up again. We’re almost there, Bees! 🐝

New faces, new energy, and one Bee family!

Today, we welcomed an outstanding group of educators and staff members at New Staff Orientation. They bring not only valuable skills, but also the strong personal qualities reflected in our Portrait of an Educator, because who we are is just as important as what we know.

The day included conversations, connections, and a little friendly trivia to help everyone learn more about our district and communities.

Welcome to MCS! We’re glad you’re here.

I love this! So cute. Send in your photos.

✅ The sport(s) they play for the Bees

Great schools grow through collaboration!

Yesterday, our District Leadership Team brought administrators and teacher leaders together to prepare instructional goals for the upcoming school year. The room was filled with thoughtful conversations, shared ideas, and a clear focus on helping every student succeed.

I appreciate these educators for lending their voices and expertise as we prepare for the year ahead.

The hallways are coming back to life!

Today, I welcomed our secretaries back and thanked them for all they do to keep our schools connected, organized, and ready to serve students and families.

Then it was off to Claggett, where incoming sixth graders explored their new school, met classmates, and took an exciting first step into middle school.

The energy is building, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back!

This morning I stopped by the Farmers Market to welcome students and families as we get ready for a new school year. We’ll be back next Saturday, come see us!

I also caught some of our Bees in action at today’s tennis tournament. 🎾

Less than two weeks until we’re back! Looking forward to seeing our students and staff.
