Field Day Station Volunteers AI Root is looking for some parent volunteers to come help run field day stations this year! Field day is on May 28th and the time is from 8am-1:30pm. Field Day will be for grades 6 and 7. Lunch will be provided. Thank you in advance for your time!

*FINE ARTS FEST*
Don't forget to come out and see all the talent at AI Root Middle School THIS Thursday May 14 from 6:30-7:30! The Spring String Orchestra performance will begin at 6:30. Each student will also have artwork on display throughout the building.
The Frosty Gator food truck will also be onsite to serve you from 7-9pm. Be sure to come hungry, they have some super yummy options, AND they're giving 10% back to the PTO.
It's sure to be a fun night, come check it out!!!

One more thing we want to share from this week is these appreciation papers we put on the teacher's doors. Just for funsies and the kids all behaved with them. It is just great to see that the kids appreciate their teachers as well! Here are just a few from around the building ...

The kids had a fun spirit week sponsored by NJHS! Today the fun commenced with Twin day. Here are two of my favorites...

Root went out with a bang for the last day of teacher appreciation week! We have a Mac and cheese bar with homemade Alfredo, pulled pork and chicken and all the fixings!! We also are pulling teacher and staff names all day long to win a variety of AWESOME prizes, many of the donated by our amazing Root parents and local businesses ! THANK YOU TEACHERS AND STAFF for all you do for our kids all year. You're seen. You're appreciated. You're loved.
