Our very first fundraiser for the year kicks off NOW and it's one you don't want to miss!

We're partnering with JOCO Growers to bring you beautiful mums for the fall season!! 🌼

All sales are online only, we are not collecting order forms or money through the PTO. Place all orders online, please.

1. Pick up a packet from school with the flyer and parent letter, or just follow the QR code below!
2. Once registered, your student will receive a unique selling code for you to share with family, friends, neighbors, and social media! Sales close September 9.
3. Pick up your items at Root Middle School on September 22 between 2:30-5:30pm! Please note- we do not deliver, and we will only have one pickup date, so please make arrangements.

Hi Parents/Guardians of A.I. Root Middle School:

We hope your students have had a great first week of school! We wanted to reach out specifically regarding the use of e-bikes and electronic powered rides. As previously communicated, students are not to ride their e-bikes and electronic powered rides to the A.I. Root campus.

Per the Student Code of Conduct under School District Transportation:

Bicycle racks are provided for students riding bikes to school. All bicycles are to be placed in the racks and securely locked. No bike riding is allowed during the school day. Students who bring their bicycles to school do so with the understanding that bicycles are private property, the school cannot assume responsibility for the damage or theft that might occur. Students are expected to walk bicycles off of school so that the safety of other students is not imperiled. Students who do not exercise good judgment in riding their bikes may be refused permission to ride them to school in the future.
No other forms of personal transportation, such as skateboards, roller skates, roller blades, heelys, e-bikes, electronic powered rides or mopeds, are to be used. These items are not permitted in school without the permission of the administration. Any use of these items on school grounds is strictly prohibited.
Beginning on Monday, students will be issued discipline for riding these e-bikes or electronic powered rides to school. E-bikes and electronic powered rides to school may be confiscated and parents/guardians will be notified to pick them up.

The Medina Police Department has received calls from concerned community members regarding student’s reckless operation of e-bikes on their way to and from school. Additionally, we have intervened with students on campus who have nearly been involved in accidents with other students and staff members.
