🎓✨ Our newest daycare graduate! ✨🎓

Today we’re celebrating one very special little guy who has grown so much during his time with us. It’s hard to believe it’s time for him to move on to his next big adventure! ❤️

We have loved watching him learn, grow, laugh, play, make friends, and become the amazing kid he is today. He has brought so much joy, personality, and love into our daycare family, and we are definitely going to miss having him here every day. 🥹💙

While we’re sad to see him go, we are SO excited to watch all of the amazing things he is going to accomplish this school year! We know he is going to do wonderful things and make so many memories along the way. 📚⭐

And of course… we’re already hoping that on those non-school days, we might get a surprise visit from our graduate! 😉 Because once you’re part of the Shining Stars family, you’re always part of the Shining Stars family. ✨

Congratulations, sweet boy! We love you so much and are SO proud of you! 🎓💙 We’ll miss you more than you know! 🥹

We hope everyone had a wonderful first day of school! 💛📚

One of the greatest privileges we have is being trusted with your children. We truly don’t take that responsibility lightly, and we are so thankful to each and every family who chooses us!

While it’s always bittersweet to see our little ones grow up and move on to all day school, we couldn’t be more excited to watch them learn, grow, and begin this next chapter. 🥹

It’s especially hard when we’ve had some of our kiddos since they were tiny! Watching them grow from little ones into school aged kids is such a special part of what we do.

With all of the school transitions happening, we now have a few openings available! If you or someone you know is looking for a loving, dependable place for their little one, we would absolutely love to meet you and give you a tour. 🏡💗

How fun! ☀️ 🍋

✨Hi friends!! ✨

The kiddos wanted to do a lemonade stand as one of their summer bucket list items. We will be using any earnings to purchase fun outdoor toys/activities that the kiddos have been wanting!

Please come see us this Friday right in front of the daycare!! We will have lemonade and a few baked goods as well! 💛

Medicine Lodge is a Kansas Child Care Community Champion! 🏆

We are proud to share that the City of Medicine Lodge and our community have been recognized as a Kansas Child Care Community Champion through the Child Care Friendly Communities Initiative!

This award recognizes our community's commitment to supporting and strengthening local child care through the Medicine Lodge Daycare project. While this recognition belongs to our city and community, it would not have been possible without our five independently licensed child care providers. Their dedication, compassion, and hard work are the heart of this project, and we are incredibly grateful for all they do each day. ❤️

It’s a great chance to expand your knowledge, stay up to date on requirements, and complete trainings at no cost. Be sure to take advantage of this opportunity while it’s available!

This summer, PAXIS Institute training is available at no cost to child-serving professionals across Kansas through mid-September. Between 2023 and 2025, over 731 Kansans engaged in PAX Tools training through this statewide initiative, with outcomes showing 9 in 10 participants reporting less conflict in their settings.
