The 96th Washington FFA State Convention was a success! 18 Medical Lake FFA members spent 3 days in Pullman competing in various CDEs and LDEs!

🌸Tomorrow is the day🌸 Swing by the Medical Lake High School Greenhouse and stock up on bedding plants, hanging baskets, and veggies!

Today Lauren Kuster, Corbin Kuster, and Aiden Smith represented the Medical Lake FFA Chapter at the State Horse Evaluation CDE in Ellensburg. Lauren placed 6th high individual out of 171 contestants! It was a hot, long day full of learning and new experiences!

This last week, 9 ML FFA members exhibited their livestock projects at the Spokane Jr. Livestock Show. Countless hours of hard work and dedication were put in over the last several months to prepare. We had exhibitors in every barn (cattle, pigs, lambs, and goats)!

Last weekend, the ML FFA Trap Shooting Team competed at the State Invitational in Wenatchee and brought home some hardware! Squad 1 placed 4th out of 50 squads and Ewan Merrick took 3rd place in Buddy Shoot!

The greenhouse is looking fantastic and we are so excited to welcome you in to do some plant shopping (just in time for Mother’s Day)!

All proceeds go directly to the Medical Lake FFA Chapter to support student involvement in Career & Leadership Developement Events

Yesterday the Forestry team traveled to Grays Harbor Community College for the Washington FFA State Forestry Event. The Team placed 5th overall out of 20 teams and Zak Taylor placed 11th High Individual out of 95 students. Congrats to Eli Griffey, Lexi Green, Liz Rhea, Zak Taylor, and Jairus Mount for getting this team on stage in our first year competing!

When you head back to school Monday, say thank you to Miss Williams and Mr. Tanis. They have opened the door to so many opportunities for your chapter this year! You are one fortunate FFA chapter to have advisors like them!

‼️Mark your calendars‼️ Medical Lake FFA will be having our Annual Plant Sale May 6-9. We have a variety of bedding plants, veggies, and hanging baskets. Product and price list will be posted soon!
