It is time for juniors (and maybe even sophomores) to start planning for their spring/summer SAT exams. The 2022 spring/summer SAT dates are March 12, May 7, June 4, and August 27. Ideally, a student should take the exam twice in a row in order to use everything learned the first time (after preparing), and then rest, revitalize, and review before the second round.

Preparing to take the SAT generally should begin eight to twelve weeks prior to the first test taken. So if a student wants to take the March 12 test, that student might begin prepping in mid-December, which is coming soon. There is a lot to learn and understand about the test, so if a student is serious about getting a certain score to get into a particular college and receive more scholarship money from that school, preparing for the test is extremely helpful, if not essential, to meeting these goals.
