Just found this article from last year, I apologize to my loved ones for any pain this article brings up but I felt the way the writer describes my big brother, albeit briefly, is accurate and honorable and I just adore this pic of Theron, it resembles our handsome father immensely.

Due to the unfathomable tragedy that occurred this last weekend here locally, which involved the drowning death of a 7 year old child in an Eagle Point creek, I've decided to remind parents, grandparents, caregivers and non swimmers of all ages just how crucially imperative it is to take at least a basic introductory course in water safety and familiarity. As soon as a child can toddle around on their precious chubby lil legs, they can benefit from beginner water safety where depending on the age, the skills introduced will resemble some variant of 4 main subjects;

☆Back Float/Front (survival) Float
☆Breathholding/Bubbles/Respiratory Training
☆Backstroke/Sidestroke, low exertion strokes to
get to shore.
☆Basic life saving skills for one's self and others.

Here at Little Mermaids we believe so strongly in the benefits of this Safety course that we will now be offering one free private 'Watersafe Intro' lesson for each student with the purchase of three or more regular skill set lessons....

However,
If your family cannot currently afford the three lesson purchase requirement we will still provide each interested student a full 30 minute 'Watersafe Intro' no matter what! This is how important this course is for every child, pr***en, teen, young adult, middle aged, and senior with little prior water experience.

I can guarantee your child won’t just learn to swim! (introduction to all strokes and development for higher levels)

But they will absolutely fall in love 🥰with Teacher Carrie’s interactive child based curriculum!

I offer the last 5 to 10 minutes of each 30 to 60 minute lesson as “free time”. During this segment each student becomes the teacher and directs the lesson to his or her desire, all the while being guided by me to provide a rundown of everything we’ve learned that day.

Yesterday’s 3yr old student happens to love dinosaurs, so I brought in my pterodactyl floaty
I just happen to have in my car in case of emergencies.🤪

Hello fishies, merfolk, and parents!!!

Just wanted to let everyone know my services are absolutely up and running amidst the pandemic but have no fear, I provide a safe arena, and by that I mean, I come to your pool prepared and cautious with my mask always on my person and CDC recommended social distancing guidelines! The advantage of private lessons during a global crisis and subsequent shutdown, is that as long we are safe, and on private property...we are able to operate. So while many kiddos may be missing out on a crucial summer of swim skill comprehension, my students at Little Mermaids will not only be up to par with their skill set, they will also be drastically above the curve!
