Medford Fire Department visited the kids today!
We have been learning about Jesus calming the storms and people in our community that calm our storms, First Responders! This week we focused on firefighters and how they help our community!

Day 1 of Rainforest Falls Adventure!

On Day 1, we got to learn about our Bible Buddy Tango, a Quetzal! He helped teach us about how God created the Earth and creatures on it! We learned that he even made each us in our own unique and special ways!
Through out the day we got to try a special snack, Clementine Creation, got to make a Globe Sun Catcher, dance around like a quetzal with a long tail, and learn how different all our finger prints are!

Parent Teacher Conferences are next week! If your child is in one of our Preschool classrooms and you haven't gotten the chance to sign up yet, make sure to leave a message on the community post under you child's classroom page!

We will be closed Monday May 25th in honor of Memorial day!

Thank you to all the brave men and women who have given their lives in service to our country. We are deeply grateful for the sacrifice they gave and for the families they left behind to care on their legacy.

Newsletter for this month talks about the focus on the Parable of the Sower. The kiddos will get some great hands-on learning about gardening and flowers. From the 18th-22nd, we will be doing VBS in the Chapel. This takes place during school hours, so nothing special is needed. We'll take a whole week to focus on the fun Jungle-themed VBS curriculum both in the Chapel and in the classroom. AND for the first year ever, we're including Toddlers in the VBS curriculum. We've adapted it so that they can participate, however, they will be remaining in their classrooms to do so. It'll be an exciting week that we'll be sure to share all the pictures of! 🌸🌸

Monday was a coffee bar, where administration made the staff their coffee or energy drinks to order!
Tuesday was catered tacos!
Wednesday was a rolling snack cart where they could build their own snack plate!
Thursday was a tumbler with goodies, a flower, and hand written note from administration!
Friday was a pj day and breakfast!!

🔴Miss Laurie!-- Miss Laurie has been here for roughly 30 years. She is an extraordinary teacher in the infant room, where her kindness and nurturing spirit create a warm and welcoming environment for the littlest learners. She goes above and beyond in everything she does—thoughtfully tending to each child’s needs and making sure families feel supported and at ease. Watching her interact with the babies is like witnessing a master at work; she knows just how to soothe, engage, and inspire curious little minds. Having entrusted my three kids to her care, I can confidently say she’s a treasure! I am so thankful for Miss Laurie and the love she pours into her role every single day.

🔴Miss Keirsten (Kris)!--With her big heart and caring nature, Kris is always seeking new ways to support both her tiny charges and their families. Her remarkable organization keeps the classroom running smoothly, ensuring that each day is filled with fun and learning. With her thoughtful approach and attentive presence, she creates a safe and nurturing environment that fosters growth and happiness. We are truly fortunate to have such a dedicated teacher like Miss Kris in our community!

🔴Miss Lisa!-- is the kind of teacher every child hopes for—full of laughter, joy, and a heart that shines in everything she does. She isn’t afraid to be silly, to dance, to make funny faces, or to turn an ordinary moment into something magical. Her playful spirit helps children feel safe, loved, and excited to learn each day. But beyond the giggles, Miss Lisa is truly special in every way—she sees each child as unique and wonderful, and she pours kindness, patience, and care into everything she does. She doesn’t just teach; she creates memories that will last a lifetime.

🟠Miss Rylee! Always brings an energy to her classroom that is impossible to miss—in the best way! DJ Rylee--with fun music always playing and smiles all around, she creates a joyful space where kids can learn, laugh, and be themselves. I know who to turn to anytime I need a playlist! She pours so much of her time, energy, and love into each day, making sure every child feels seen, cared for, and included. Whether she’s dancing along with her class or tending to a child’s needs, Miss Rylee goes above and beyond to make sure her kiddos are happy, supported, and thriving. Her classroom isn’t just a place to learn—it’s a place full of fun, connection, and heart.

🟠Miss Mikenzie! Mikenzie is a wonderful example of thoughtfulness and dedication in action. Her incredible organization and eye for detail help create a classroom that runs smoothly and feels welcoming for every child. My baby goes to her so readily, and that eases my mom heart. She puts so much care into planning meaningful, memorable crafts that her students can be proud of, turning everyday moments into special experiences. If your child has been blessed to have her as a teacher, you know this to be true! Every month she sends home stacks of beautiful crafts! Beyond the classroom, she communicates so well with families, building trust and connection every step of the way. Miss Mikenzie truly strives to make sure each child in the Orange Room feels supported, valued, and set up to succeed.

🟠Miss Timberlynn! She brings a beautiful balance of bubbly joy and gentle calm to her classroom, creating a space where children feel both energized and at ease. She is always moving with purpose—whether she’s tidying up behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly or sitting down to read what feels like a million stories with patience and enthusiasm. Every little thing she does is filled with care, intention, and love. Her quiet dedication and warm presence make a lasting impact, and her students are lucky to be surrounded by the comfort and kindness she brings each day.

🟠Miss Rebecca! She brings both heart and understanding to her classroom, and as a parent herself, she truly knows how important it is to care for and advocate for every child. She approaches her work with empathy, thoughtfulness, and a genuine desire to make a difference. Always willing to grow and learn, she embraces new ideas and strives to be the best she can be for her students and their families. Miss Rebecca builds meaningful bonds not only with the children in her care, but also with families and fellow staff, creating a strong sense of trust and community wherever she goes.

🟠Miss Sam! She has a way of always filling the classroom with laughter, music, and connection. Whether she’s serenading the kids with her voice or showing off her fun dance moves, she knows how to make each day special and full of energy. Beyond the fun, Miss Sam has a beautiful way of recognizing each child’s unique strengths and gently guiding them to grow and shine. She builds strong, meaningful connections with both her students and their families, and communicates with care and clarity whenever needs arise. Miss Sam’s heart for her kids truly shows in everything she does.

🟡Miss Laila!--Some teachers simply do their job—Miss Laila transforms the entire classroom experience. She is incredibly reliable and stepped into what was chaos, bringing calm, structure, and consistency. Her patience is unmatched, and she creates a space where every child feels welcomed, valued, and safe. You’ll rarely see her without a smile, and that joy is contagious, shaping the entire classroom environment. What stands out most is her creativity—the way she guides, redirects, and connects with the kids isn’t just effective, it’s genuinely impressive. She meets them where they are and helps them grow in ways that feel natural and encouraging. Miss Laila isn’t just teaching lessons—she’s building confidence, kindness, and a love for learning every single day, and we’re so grateful for the impact she’s making.

🟡Miss Makayla!--Miss Makayla brings such a special energy to the classroom with her caring heart and uplifting spirit. She supports Miss Laila in everything while also taking initiative and adding her own unique spark that makes a real difference. She’s always engaging with the kids—being playful, a little silly, not afraid to wiggle dance with them, and fully present in their world—which helps create a joyful and connected environment. On top of that, she’s an incredible hype person, constantly encouraging and celebrating the kids in a way that builds their confidence and makes them feel seen. Miss Makayla’s warmth and enthusiasm truly shine through in everything she does.

🟢Miss Angee!-- Miss Angee is the kind of teacher who truly gets things done, and she does it all with a confidence that naturally shines. Teaching seems to come effortlessly to her, and it shows in the way she leads her classroom with purpose and care. She builds amazing connections with families, creating a strong sense of trust and community that makes everyone feel included. There’s always something meaningful happening in her classroom, reflecting her dedication and passion. On top of that, she’s a strong leader who is incredibly patient and understanding, making her such a steady and positive presence for both her students and those around her.

🟢Miss Shaolin (Shao)!-- She brings such a quiet strength and steady calm to the classroom. Her gentle presence creates a sense of safety and balance, especially in moments when little ones feel overwhelmed. With a kind heart and a willingness to step in wherever she’s needed, Shao supports both students and her team in ways that truly matter. Her calm energy helps guide children through big emotions, and her compassion never goes unnoticed. We’re so grateful for the care, patience, and quiet dedication she brings each day.

🔵Miss Alex!--Miss Alex has grown so beautifully in her role as a teacher, and we are beyond thankful for the joy, passion, and energy she brings each and every day. She is always looking for ways to learn, improve, and grow, constantly seeking feedback because she truly wants the very best for her kiddos. Her dedication, caring heart, and positive spirit shine so brightly in the classroom, and it is such a blessing to watch the meaningful connections she builds with her students. We are so proud of all she has accomplished and so grateful for the love and enthusiasm she pours into our school family. Thank you, Miss Alex, for all that you do!

🔵Miss Jenaya!--When Jenaya started with us, she was just a little shy, but wow, she has blossomed into such a compassionate, caring, and incredible teacher! Her gentle spirit, kind heart, and hilarious personality make her such a special part of our classroom. The children naturally seek her out for comfort because they know they are safe, loved, and cared for in her presence. She has such a deep sense of empathy that shines through in every interaction, and it is beautiful to see the love and understanding she brings to her kiddos each day. We are so thankful for the warmth, laughter, and heart Miss Jenaya pours into our school family. Thank you for being such a blessing to both the children and those around you!

🟣Miss Liz!--Miss Liz is the kind of teacher who steps up in ways that truly make a difference. She is always willing to do the hard things if it means it is what is best for the children, families, and staff around her. Her compassionate heart and gentle kindness shine through in the way she cares for her kiddos, always making sure they know just how loved they are. Beyond the classroom, Miss Liz builds meaningful connections with families and creates strong bonds with her coworkers, making everyone around her feel supported and valued. Her selflessness, dedication, and loving spirit are such a gift to our school family, and we are so thankful for all the ways she pours into others each and every day. Thank you, Miss Liz, for being such an incredible part of our team!

🟣Miss Morgan!--Miss Morgan has such a special way of interacting with the children that makes every moment meaningful. Her wit, quick thinking, and calm presence allow her to diffuse just about any situation with grace and humor, creating an environment where kids feel safe, understood, and loved. It is so clear how much she genuinely loves what she does, and the children absolutely adore her in return. One of the most beautiful things to witness is the pride and joy she feels when she sees the positive difference she is making in the lives of her kiddos. She brags about those kiddos and their accomplishments as if they were her own! The care, laughter, and heart she brings into the classroom each day leave a lasting impact, and we are so thankful for the incredible teacher and person she is. Thank you, Miss Morgan, for loving your students so well!

🟣Miss Melinda!--Miss Melinda brings such a valuable depth of experience to the classroom, and it shines through in everything she does. Her background in education gives her the ability to handle just about any situation with wisdom, patience, and confidence, making her such a steady and trusted presence for both the children and staff around her. More than anything, Miss Melinda loves her kiddos fiercely, always making sure they feel seen, cared for, and encouraged each day. One of the most special things about her is the way she openly shares the love of God with those around her, reflecting kindness, grace, and compassion in all that she does. We are so thankful for the heart, knowledge, and faith she pours into our school family each and every day. Thank you, Miss Melinda, for being such a blessing to everyone around you!

Miss Sophia!--Miss Sophia is the floater/breaker for the Preschool end, but also is in infants and toddlers a lot. She worked here for a few years, left to work at the hospital, and came back until she is finished with her schooling. We were ecstatic to have her back! Sophia has such a special way of making children feel loved and secure. I can’t count the number of times I’ve walked by and seen her holding a child close, sitting on the floor playing with the kids, or fully engaged in whatever imaginative game they’ve pulled her into. She loved on my girls like they were her own, and that kind of care leaves a lasting impact. Sophia is also someone you can always trust to follow protocol and handle things the right way, even in the middle of complete classroom chaos—which somehow never seems to faze her. She brings such a calm, fun energy to the room, and being around her is just easy. Our school is better because of the love, patience, and consistency she brings every day.

Miss Kerstin!--Miss Kerstin is the kind of person who keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes, often without anyone even realizing how much she’s carrying. From organizing curriculum and passing out supplies to stepping in to give staff a much-needed break, she serves others constantly and without complaint. What makes her especially meaningful is the way she intentionally checks in with people—asking how they’re doing, what they need, and how she can help lighten the load. Her servant’s heart shows in both the big and small moments, and she creates an environment where staff feel supported, cared for, and seen. Miss Kerstin’s willingness to quietly step up wherever needed makes her such a valuable and appreciated part of our school family.

Miss Ariel!--Miss Ariel is such a great example of dedication and joy, especially for someone balancing so much in this season of life. Between finishing her senior year, working, and keeping up with extracurricular activities, she still shows up focused, dependable, and ready to give her best every time she’s here. She has such a genuine love for the kids, and it shows in the way she cares for them and jumps in wherever she’s needed without ever complaining. Ariel’s work ethic is incredible, but what really stands out is the happiness she brings with her—her positive attitude and contagious smile make the classroom brighter for both the children and the staff. We are so thankful for the heart, maturity, and servant attitude she brings to our team.

Miss Jenna!--Miss Jenna is truly impressive in the way she balances so many responsibilities while still showing up and giving her best to the kids every day. Between maintaining a perfect GPA, participating in DECA, dance, and all the demands of her senior year, she still comes into work with energy, focus, and a willingness to jump in wherever she’s needed. The kids absolutely adore her, and it’s easy to see why—Jenna has a natural ability to connect with people and make them feel comfortable and included. Whether she’s laughing with the children, encouraging them, or building relationships with staff, she brings a fun and positive energy that people are drawn to. Her maturity, work ethic, and ability to genuinely bond with those around her make her such a valuable part of our team.

Miss Monique!--Miss Monique is truly the face of our school and one of the first people others experience when they walk through our doors. Her cheerful personality, welcoming spirit, and genuine kindness make people feel comfortable instantly. Helping others seems to come naturally to her, and she does it with such ease and consistency that it has become one of the many things our staff relies on daily. Whether she’s answering questions, stepping in where needed, or simply bringing positivity into the room, Monique has been an incredible part of our team. She has helped lighten so much of the load for those around her, and her willingness to serve others with joy does not go unnoticed. Our school is better because of the warmth, support, and dedication she brings every day.

An additional shout out to all of our amazing parents that help to make spoiling our teachers and staff last week! With out you, we would not have been able to spoil them!
