As we’re gearing up for the start of a new school year, I’d like to take a minute to welcome the new families and students joining my classroom!

A bit about me: my husband, Josh, and I live in Medford with our 8 year old black lab, Hank and 5 year old chocolate lab, Ally. We also love to spend time at the cabin, hunt, fish, and just enjoy anything outdoors! Hank and Ally LOVE to jump off of the dock at the cabin for hours - you’ll get to hear tons about them this year!

This starts my 11th year as a Kindergarten teacher in the Medford School District. My Early Childhood/Special Education undergrad is from UW - Stevens Point and my Master’s in Educational Technology is from Marian University. I attended MAES as a little girl and it's so surreal being back here to teach!

My favorite part about teaching Kindergarten is seeing the growth that happens from fall to spring, it's amazing! I also love the stories, hugs, and relationships made with the little ones that have BIG hearts! ❤️

Unfortunately all of our butterflies didn’t come out of their chrysalises before the last day of school (only 2 did) so I checked on them a couple times last week!

Friday afternoon I felt it was the best day to release them as they were ready to go! 🦋
