Dogs of Resolve

This gentleman's name is Nacho Libre. Nacho loves his person, obviously, and his person is Tiff. Tiff directs all of the parts of Resolve's work that include restorative practices. Tiff leads trainings, circles and restorative justice processes and coordinates with her team to provide these services to many individuals, agencies and organizations throughout southern Oregon.

Interacting with a dog is delightfully simple, while human relationships can be complex and sometimes difficult to navigate.

Every person carries an apology they never gave, never received, or never forgot.

At Resolve, we witness every day how powerful an apology can be. In mediation and restorative justice, apologies are often the first step toward healing, accountability, and repair. They acknowledge harm, restore dignity, and create the possibility for people to move forward.

This fall, we're bringing those deeply human moments to the stage.

Tonight on NBC5 News at 6, News Anchor Emily Storm interviews Talia Trout, Executive Director of the Resolve Center for Dispute Resolution and Restorative Justice.

Trout discusses their inaugural live storytelling event called The Apology Tour, which she says is drawn from anonymous apologies from the community exploring conflict, relationships, injustice, regret, reconciliation and unexpected moments of grace. Trout also details how community members can get involved in the event and highlights Resolve's work across Southern Oregon for the past 36 years.
