Help save our local airports, it can start with you by contacting your state officials and express support for preserving local airports like Aeroflex-Andover, and the Flying W Airport as we work with tenants, stakeholders, and lawmakers to advocate for a solution.

AirFest 2026 is coming to the Wildwoods this weekend!

From Thursday, September 3 through Sunday, September 6, the Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum at Cape May Airport will come alive with four days of aviation history, family fun and some seriously impressive aircraft.

Visitors can get an up-close look at historic warbirds, including the C-47 “Placid Lassie,” an actual D-Day combat veteran, a flying Messerschmitt Me 262 reproduction, TBM Avenger “Doris Mae,” vintage trainers and other visiting aircraft. You’ll also have the chance to meet pilots and crews and explore the museum’s collection of 28 aircraft and helicopters.

And there’s plenty happening beyond the flight line! Expect military vehicles, fire trucks, living-history reenactors, aviation and STEM exhibits, public-safety displays, live music, a 1940s-style radio show, food vendors, NJWG Civil Air Patrol's Wheel of Fortune (chance to spin for free aviation related gifts), and more. Kids can enjoy free face painting and caricatures, and Saturday brings vintage dancers and the Aero Club of Pennsylvania & EAA Fly-In.

📍NAS Wildwood Aviation Museum 500 Forrestal Road, Cape May
📍September 3–6
📍10am–4pm daily
📍13+: $18 | Ages 3-12: $14 | Under 2: FREE | Active Duty Military w/ ID: FREE
📍Free parking

One important note: AirFest is primarily a ground and static-display event rather than a traditional scheduled air show - but with visiting aircraft flying in and out, you never know what you might see take to the skies!

Officials with Medford Township found themselves during an Aug. 11 Medford Township Council session addressing what had been a little-known arrangement approved by the governing body without much fanfare back in February of this year authorizing a shared services agreement with Lumberton Township for “Public Works services.”

The arrangement had attracted a lot of attention, however, on social media in the week leading up to the latest council meeting.

It comes as public backlash is growing over plans for additional affordable housing in Medford, consuming significant portions of the last several Medford Council meetings.
