North Medford Academic Scavenger Hunt

First meeting happened today. Passed out permission slips and students can start gathering signatures from teachers. The hunt starts Tuesday, December 5th at 8:00 am.

2017 Academic Scavenger Hunt starts December 5th. Answers due evening of the 7th. Adjudication will take place at SOU December 12.

There will be a mandatory meeting during office hours this Thursday.

Are you in? Will you be participating in this year's Academic Scavenger Hunt? Come to the library during lunch, November 17th, for our first organizational meeting. Mark your calendars...December 6-8 we'll meet in the glass lab each day to work together, branching off on missions, making calls, searching the Internet and books to find answers. The following week, on December 14th, we'll head to SOU for adjudication. I'm looking forward to heading up this venture. See you next Thursday. Bring your lunch. 🙂 Mrs. Larson

We are at Adjudication. About half the questions have been pre-adjudicated. For the Dedicatee, we have correct answers for #1- #4. #5 is being adjudicated. We do not have an answer for #5 :(

The Game's Afoot! The questioned dropped at 7:30 this AM and North's efforts were immediately underway! Do you have something written for or published at a Medford School District building that is from the first half of the 20th century? We may be interested in talking to you.

Coming up: Internet based, Art ID, Photo ID

After the Dedicatee round, Crater, Ashland and North Medford were perfect on 12 points. In the initial segment of Bring In judging, North gained a bonus point that none of the co-leaders gained, giving us a tenuous lead. In round two, print based, North expects to drop 4 of 37 possible points, but Crater's already dropped 4 and Ashland dropped 11 with a 5 pointer pending...

Scavenger Hunt starts 7:30am Dec 3 and runs through 4pm Dec 5. Defense is Dec 9 at SOU. Interested participants should LIKE this post.

Also, Adjudication is Feb 4, which means the whole will they or won't they Strike question is moot for this activity. We've passed the 10 day point that would endanger this event in any way!
