πGrad Walk at OESπ
We hosted some former Hawks today during the always-cool Grad Walk tradition. The kiddos love it whenever PHS students pay a visit, but there's something about Grad Walk that's extra special and inspiring. Congratulations, Hawks-Pirates!
π₯4th and 5th grade Track & Field Meetπ₯
We held our annual 4th and 5th-grade track and field meet today at Phoenix High School and it was great to see our future Bulldogs and Pirates push themselves and work together to see what they could do on the track and in the field. We saw some awesome performances and a lot of school spirit.
In the end, Talent Elementary's 4th- and 5th-grade boys prevailed, while Orchard Hill earned the 4th-grade girls title and Phoenix Elementary the 5th-grade girls title. If your student wants to compete again, they'll have another chance soon in our all-comers track meet. We'll share details soon.
Great job, kids!

π Celebrating Student Success at Orchard Hill Elementary! π
Mrs. Weaverβs and Mrs. Scogginsβ 4th-grade classes recently hosted an incredible family engagement event where students proudly presented posters and speeches about Native American tribes. ππ€
The event showcased not only the studentsβ hard work and research skills but also the dedication of two outstanding teachers who went above and beyond to create a memorable experience for families. From the beautifully organized open house atmosphere to Mrs. Weaverβs famous homemade cupcakes π§ (which truly live up to their reputation!), every detail helped make the evening special.
One parent shared:
π¬ βIt was wonderful to see the hard work our students have been doing. All the students were kind, polite, and on task. Mrs. Weaver has done an incredible job preparing her students for this event.β
A huge congratulations to all of the students for their outstanding presentations and a special thank you to Mrs. Weaver and Mrs. Scoggins for creating such a meaningful learning experience for our families and community. We are proud of you all! ππβ€οΈ
