Gio came to RVAA in fifth grade. His favorite memory is the mission trip in Yosemite. His advice is to lead and never follow. Gio’s hobbies are art, basketball, skateboarding, and fishing. His favorite food is Thai curry. Gio is planning on becoming a barber. His favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 29:25

Noah came to RVAA in the 5th grade.

Noah’s hobbies include open water swimming, chess, Muay Thai, and competitive Rocket League. He was also formerly a top 2000 Fortnite player. His favorite food is McDonald’s. After graduation, Noah plans to earn his CFI (Certified Flight Instructor) license and pursue aviation.

His favorite Bible verse is 2 Timothy 1:7 — “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

Kai came to RVAA in 6th grade. His favorite memory was playing games in the hallways with his friends. His advice to younger generations is, “Just be yourself — it makes life a lot less complicated.”

Kai’s hobbies include drawing, working out, playing the harp, and playing video games. His favorite foods are sushi and pizza. After graduation, Kai plans to attend ArtCenter and pursue his passion for art and design.

His favorite Bible verses are Matthew 5:3 — “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven,” and John 3:16 — “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal

Noah came to RVAA in 5th grade. One of his favorite memories was when “Monkey Squad” somehow managed to frame Thomas and Aaron for instigating the Vance and Aiden fight. His advice to younger generations is, “You’re innocent until proven guilty — on Good Gang.”

Matthew came to RVAA in second grade. His favorite memories are the van rides on the way home from basketball games. His advice is not to stress and to trust that God has everything in control. Matthew’s hobbies are playing drums, chess, and listening to music. His favorite food is anything Mexican. Matthew does not know what his plans are following high school yet. His favorite Bible verse is Acts 2:38.

Mackenzie came to RVAA in kindergarten. Her favorite memories are all the trips she’s gone on with her friends. Her advice to future students is to try new things, appreciate nature, be independent, feel secure in yourself, and never people-please or pretend to be someone you’re not.

Kenzie loves spending time outdoors. Some of her favorite things include white water rafting, playing spikeball, cooking, camping, listening to music, and binge-watching shows. Her favorite foods are ravioli, elote, mozzarella sticks, and pho.

After graduation, Kenzie plans to attend Washington State University to pursue her bachelor’s degree in interior design. Her favorite Bible verses are Psalm 104:24–25, Romans 8:31, and Psalm 139:13–14.

Makia joined RVAA her sophomore year, and one of her favorite memories was Senior Survival. Her advice to future students is to always be kind because you never know what someone else may be going through.

In her free time, Makia enjoys baking, fishing, playing soccer, and walking her dogs. This summer, she plans to spend time at Big Lake before heading to Walla Walla University to pursue a degree in nursing.

Her favorite Bible verse is Isaiah 60:22 — “When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen.”

Cassidy joined RVAA during her sophomore year. Her favorite memory is Senior Survival. Her advice to future students is: “Don’t let what others say or do affect who you are. God knows you and your worth.” In her free time, Cassidy enjoys babysitting, singing, and spending time with friends and family. Her favorite food is sushi. Cassidy plans to attend Walla Walla University to pursue a degree in teaching. Her go-to Bible verse is Psalm 23:6: “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”

Aubree joined RVAA in seventh grade. Her favorite memory is Bible Camp during her freshman year. Her advice to future students is to choose your friends wisely and enjoy being a kid. In her free time, Aubree enjoys baking, reading, basketball, and volleyball. Her favorite foods include Ocean Foam chocolate, pasta, and Thai food. This summer, Aubree plans to work at Big Lake before heading to Walla Walla University to pursue pre-med. Her go-to Bible verse is Galatians 5:17.
