Alumni volunteers work in a variety of career fields and can help you with career advice and information.The Alumni Association partners with Tufts Career Services to plan events throughout the year. These events help students learn about careers and industries, and offer the chance to network with alumni. Annual events include:Engineering Career Networking Night, Diversity Career Networking Night, Law Day on the Hill, and Medical Day on the Hill.

This annual event pays homage to the founding of the university on April 21, 1852. Celebrate Tufts' birthday with a carnival on campus, featuring games, food, and music, and the evening culminates with a fireworks display above the Hill.

Immediately after matriculation, the first year sons and daughters of Tufts alumni (and their parents) are invited to attend a reception celebrating their family's Jumbo legacy.

On the first day of classes each fall, all members of the senior class are invited to attend this special event on the President’s Lawn. Students hear from a representative of the Alumni Association, receive their Senior class t-shirts, enjoy hors d’oeuvres, and kick off their final year at Tufts with a toast by the President of Tufts.

The Sophomore Class Council co-sponsors this annual April tradition, where members of the sophomore class are invited to the library roof to toast the milestone of reaching the halfway mark of their time at Tufts. Sophomores also receive a special class mug and enjoy hors d’oeuvres and music.

Celebrate the end of your Tufts career by dining with the President! Each spring, members of the senior class are invited to Gifford House to dine with the President and local alumni. Throughout the night the students mingle, talk with alumni, and share their favorite memory from their experiences at Tufts.

Each semester, Tufts Alumni Assoication and the Junior Class Council host a study break during finals where members of the Junior class can let go of study-stress with a chair massage, nibble on snacks, and treat themselves to a bit of socializing with friends.

Created in 2008 in partnership with the Senior Class Council, this formal event provides seniors the opportunity to celebrate their final undergraduate year at Tufts, and officially launches the countdown to graduation. Representatives from the Board of Trustees, Tufts Alumni Association Executive Committee, and Tufts Alumni Boston often attend along with hundreds of seniors.
