OBITUARIES - Medford Mail Tribune

Sad news. Classmate Tom Weaver passed away March 17 at Providence Hospital in Medford. I have not seen an obituary in the Medford Mail-Tribune.

Black Tornado Class of 1967 folks: We now have a date for the 50th reunion -- Aug. 25, 26 and 27. Please spread the word!!!! The usual Friday night tailgate party has moved to a big tent at Centennial Golf Course. The traditional drinks-dinner-dancing event on Saturday night will be at Rogue Valley Country Club. In addition, there will be a patio brunch food/drink gathering at Peter Sage's home in the late morning/afternoon on Sunday. Exact times, site directions etc. will be forthcoming as August draws closer. The charge for the Saturday night event is expected to be about $40 per person. A nice tribute to John Kovenz, the former MHS coach who died last month at age 90. He was the last of many legendary Black Tornado coaches.
