Our first volunteer opportunities of the year will be coming soon! If you’d like to volunteer at PTA events, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗮 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗧𝗔 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿, so now is a great time to join.

We’re so close to claiming the Summer Reading trophy. We need every last effort from our Eagle scholars. It’s not too late to log in any books you’ve read this summer! Let’s go Eagle Elementary!

Final Summer Reading Park Meetup! Weds 8/12

Amazing news…Eagle has pulled into first place, tied with Bay! It’s crunch time, and we need all of our readers to help us finish strong.

Join us tomorrow, August 12 at 5 PM. Check in and report your books at the library, then find the PTA at the playground for an ice pop.

A big thank you to Señora Richards, Ms. Biesty, and Mrs. Artusa for making surprise appearances last week!

Thank you to everyone who joined us at this week’s Eagle PTA Summer Reading Park Meetup! It was wonderful to see so many of our Eagle families out enjoying the beautiful evening while supporting the Patchogue-Medford Library Summer Reading Challenge.

A very special thank you to Eagle’s reading teacher, Mrs. LaSpisa, for stopping by to cheer on our Eagle readers. We truly appreciate your support and encouragement!

The Summer Reading Challenge is a very tight race, and Eagle is currently in 2nd place! We need every Eagle reader’s help to take the lead!

If you haven’t signed up yet, there’s still plenty of time! Stop by the library to:

* Sign up for Summer Reading
* Report the books you’ve already read
* Make sure your reading counts toward Eagle

New and incoming Eagle students can participate too! Every reader and every book can help us move up in the standings.
