To all of our students currently abroad are returning soon: here's a challenge for you! Go a day without a camera, a smart phone or your computer. Stop at a cafe, have a conversation in a foreign language, savor the uniqueness of your experience, and then, if you want, read this article.

Rather than being a detriment to your future employability, employers cite experience gained abroad as a great advantage. Study abroad students have more flexibility, practical knowledge of other countries and languages, and ability to work well with diverse groups than their peers who stayed at home.
