It takes a lot to put on a show and for those who can't make it would like to do a social shout out! I could NEVER do this alone and as I shove my lunch in my face I'm feeling so much gratitude.
To put an amazing show on like the two that are going to happen this week:
84 cast members working hard
34 kids backstage and behind the scenes working hard
One parent building a 13 foot boat, a bed for the grandparents, a giant TV, and an elevator (shout out to Chris H!)
One parent thrifting, sewing all hours, and organizing the front of house and check ins with yours truly (shout out to Jen B!)
One mom making sure our squirrels look adorbs (shout out Julia F!)
One mom making sure everything built looks gorgeous and wrangling all my artists (shout out to Ingrid!)
One dad offering hugs when the director hurts herself and making sure mics are good to go (shout out Hendrick!)
One mom offering voice lessons for free (shout out Laura B!)
When I can't find brown shirts anywhere, a local company stepped up and gave us a really good deal next day (shout out to Body Toppers!)
Two MHS teens helping everywhere and anywhere (shout out to Lucia and Charlotte)
An amazing organizer and choreographer (shout out to Lisa!)
An angel sent from above who helps weekly (shout out to Camilla!)
Genius sound engineer (shout out Jacob Y!)
A principal who is on speed dial on my phone and helps within minutes when any problem happens (shout out to Mr. Tucci)
All the drama families who have donated to the show or are volunteering their time this weekend (too many to name but what you are doing is vital to a good weekend!)
Family who steps up to help pick things up, make things, support especially during tech (shout out to Aldo, Sam and Eve!)
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. So much work and love has gone into this show and can't wait to show it off to all who attend!
Shows start at 7pm both nights. There will be raffles, and even a middle school art show to enjoy while you wait for the doors to open.
