Last Thursday was schedule pick up day for Grades 6-8. It was so nice to have students back in the building and to see their excitement for the new year. We can’t wait for September 1st to see all of our students back and ready to learn!

Cross Country kicked off this morning. Some of the remaining start dates may have changed for fall sports. Please check below:

* August 24th for boys soccer at 3:30 at the MAES field
* August 24th for girls swim from 4-6 at the MASH pool
* August 25th for girls volleyball at 3:30 at the M**S gym
* Sept. 3rd for 5th/6th grade girls basketball at 3:30-5 at the M**S gym

Last week, M**S hosted the week-long STEM focused Camp Invention summer school program. This year's program was called Spark and we had over 100 students from grades K-6. The Spark curriculum featured four hands-on, creative problem-solving modules, including Fur-ensics, Making Waves, Space Morphers, The Infringrers, as well as gym class. Staff and students had so much fun and learned a lot!

A small group of Medford band and choir students had the opportunity to travel to Hawaii with the Wisconsin Junior All Stars of Music.

During their 9-day experience they have been busy practicing, traveling, sightseeing, and learning, as well as performing in the shadow of the USS Missouri with the USS Arizona in the background.

We couldn't be prouder of our M**S students!
