Today I was approached by a man who saw my sign on my Jeep. He told me that our camp made quite the impression on his son. He came home every day talking about the experiments we did. He ended up becoming obsessed with science and made a career out of it. He told me that his son is now the head meteorologist for the United States Navy.

The Mars Rover was suppose to last 90 days. Instead it pumped out images for 15 years.
Mars Rover Opportunity Is Dead After Record-Breaking 15 Years on Red Planet NASA declared its Opportunity Mars rover dead today (Feb. 13), more than eight months after the solar-powered robot went silent during a raging dust storm on the Red Planet.
