A new center at Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University, funded by the Stanton Foundation and led by Sean Majoy, V06, VG14, aims to improve the health, safety, and longevity of K-9s who serve on the front lines.

When Vivek Shah, A94, was an undergraduate student at Tufts, he would often study in the library at The Fletcher School, surrounded by graduate students.

At the recent Tufts University Class of 1976 reunion, alumnus Dan Byrne, E76, was honored with the dedication of the Design Lab, recognizing his generous support for this hands-on learning space.

“I am deeply honored to have the Design Lab bear my name, especially as I celebrate my 50th Tufts reunion," Byrne said. "Hands-on learning shaped my own journey as an engineer and has been at the heart of my career ever since."
