After learning about Boston Revolutionary & Civil War historical sites throughout the year, MHS Sophomores recently enjoyed a walking trip through Boston to see them firsthand! 🏢🦞

In addition to trips to famous spots in history, the walking tour allowed students to see Governor Healy welcoming the President of Cape Verde at the State House and many tourists here for the World Cup!

Our McGlynn Elementary and Middle School students enjoyed a memorable a very Friday! 💥☄️

Grade 8 students spent the day on a class field trip at Canobie Lake Park, while elementary students enjoyed their annual Fun Day. Among the many activities for McGlynn elementary students, some used their chance to get Principal O'Brien in the dunk tank!

Thank you to our McGlynn staff and parent volunteers assisting in these experiences for our students.

The Medford Comprehensive High School Building Committee (SBC) voted to select design C2.2A as the singular design option for the Medford High School (MHS) building project’s Preferred Schematic Report during Wednesday's full committee meeting.

Design C2.2A is a renovation and addition design that will build on the existing footprint of the current high school. The building committee selected C2.2A given the design’s:

- Increased visibility and sight lines within the building to enhance school operations and supervision of students
- Preservation of the current pool, gymnasium, and other indoor athletic facilities (all will be renovated)
- Access to natural light throughout the entire design
- Support from Medford’s Chief of Police and Fire Chief
- Need for 0 modular classrooms
- Cost, which was the lowest of addition/renovations options

Led by Roberts CCSR Advisor Ms. Ginelle Gaulin-McKenzie, students raised over $3,500 to buy supplies and materials for the beds. The students then partnered with A Bed for Every Child, a non-profit who provides children across the state with safe and comfortable beds.
