The first day of summer was on Sunday, June 21, 2026. The Little Lamb children are doing enjoyable summer activities such as: playing in the sandbox, playing ball, chalk drawings on the sidewalk, blowing bubbles, and taking nature walks on the premises. Have a happy summer!

Little Lamb Academy of Medford will be CLOSED on July 3, 2026, for Independence Day.

Greetings! We all scream for ice cream! 🍦During this time, we are celebrating June Dairy Month. This week’s theme is “dairy farm”. The children are doing fun activities associated with farm and dairy foods. We want to say “Thank You!” to our local dairy farmers for all the hard work they do each day to give us dairy products for us to eat at meal times.

Welcome to summer! During the summer months at Little Lamb Childcare, the teachers will provide fun themed activities for the children to engage and interact with. Some of the themes are: outer space, farm, animals, camping, art, construction, nature, and many more. The children will also have opportunities to use their imaginations while doing the themed activities during each month. In this week’s photo, a child is using his imagination by driving his ‘spaceship’ into orbit during our “outer space” weekly theme.
A very special “Thank You” to all Immanuel Lutheran Congregation members, Little Lamb families, and the community for all your hard efforts to make the Little Lamb Matching Grant a total success! Greetings!
Our enrollment at Little Lamb Academy of Medford is now 33 children with eight teachers.

A few weeks ago, we celebrated the child. Now is
the time to celebrate the teacher! This week is National Teacher
Appreciation Week. Every day, teachers show up to deliver
nurturance, guidance, love, hope and inspiration to all the
children they take care of. This is a great opportunity to give
thanks to all the dedicated teachers that pour out their hearts into
helping and teaching our children to grow. Thank you, teachers,
for making a difference in so many young lives!

Welcome to May! Hopefully the outside temperature gets warmer soon. We all got a little preview of the warmer temperatures a week ago. In this week’s photo, the infants had an opportunity to enjoy the warmer weather we had. The children were playing and socializing with each other in the grassy area in the playground.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the celebration of the “Week of the Young Child”. It was a huge success with all the activities that we did at Little Lamb and Immanuel School!

The month of April is a busy time at Little Lamb Academy of
Medford. Last week we celebrated the “Week of the Young
Child”. On Friday we had a Family Fun Day with a pizza lunch.
It was well-attended and everyone had a good time. See photo at
right.
