Vestibular disorders can affect anyone, regardless of age, profession, or public profile. Stories like these help raise awareness of conditions that are often misunderstood or invisible to others.

If you work with individuals experiencing dizziness, vertigo, balance challenges, or vestibular migraine, understanding these conditions is essential to providing effective care. Thanks to VeDA for highlighting these experiences and helping bring greater visibility to vestibular health.

Try this: pick an object in front of you and keep looking at it while slowly turning your head side to side. 👀

Your vestibulo-ocular reflex (VOR) is helping keep that object in focus.

The VOR connects your vestibular and visual systems, automatically moving your eyes to compensate for head movement. When this reflex is impaired, the world may appear blurry, jumpy or even like it's bouncing as you move.
