🐾 COMET CANINES ROLL CALL! 🐾

Happy National Dog Day!

Our students have returned to school, which means Kersey’s dogs have begun their most challenging assignment yet: guarding the backpacks, inspecting dropped breakfast crumbs, and waiting by the window for their favorite Comets to come home. 🐶💫

Show us your family’s four-legged Comet! Share a pet photo in the comments and tell us:

⛳️ Save the date—we’re teeing up a great day for Kersey Creek!

Join us for the KCES PTA Golf Tournament Fundraiser on Monday, October 12, 2026, at The Hollows Golf Club.

We’re looking for:

🏌️ Golfers ready to hit the course
🤝 Community sponsors interested in supporting KCES
🙌 Volunteers to help make the event a success

Funds raised will support programs and opportunities for Kersey Creek students and families. More tournament details are coming soon!

Whether this is your first year at Kersey or you already know the hallways by heart, we’re so glad you’re part of our Comet community. Here’s to kind classmates, caring teachers, brave beginnings, big ideas, and an amazing year ahead!

Monday, August 24 is a special first day for our kindergarteners and students who are new to KCES. It’s a chance to meet new faces, learn the hallways, and begin feeling at home.

To our newest Comets: You belong here, and we can’t wait to watch you shine! Families, pack the backpack, label everything, take the pictures—and remember, the tissues may be for you. 💙💛
